"Geoff Moysa (Analog Surf Team Manager) and Tom Cozad (Photographer/medical professional) helped lead the charge to rescue Kenny Honingford, a local knee surfer, from the water where he lay face down and unconscious. Stabilizing his neck they pulled Honingford from the water and revived him by clearing his airway of water. The Newport Beach Lifeguards, Paramedics, and Fire Department were soon on the scene to asses the injured surfer and take him to the hospital"
