What a time for Chippa Wilson. Fresh off the win for StabMag's Little Weeds project he has been whisked to the United States. With basecamp set up in Newport Beach, Chippa has been privy to beach breaks galore and a city that thinks it's permantley on vacation. Chippa's made his way to the Analog offices and even wet his palate, enjoying Jack n' the Box for the first time, his order: mini sirloin burgers. Enjoyed on a bicycle no less, while riding home from a concert and subsequient house party, with no bike light wearing white war-paint applied by the drummer of the performing band.
Chippa has made it North to Huntington Beach where he met up with Benji Weatherley for a fun windy surf South of the pier
and to Lowers, where the wind also prevailed but gave room for him to showcase his trademark finner.
As relaxed as his surfing seems, the man is on a mission, or at least a big part of it. Following him from Australia are the winning photographer and movie-maker from Little Weeds, Matt O'brien and Riley Blakeway,
sent here to get the next StabMag cover and document the happenings. A Mexico Mission with all involved went down and Chippa went mad in the fun headhigh lefts that provided a perfect punt section. Look for that soon in magazines as it was covered from all angles.
